This blog curates my journey at the intersection of medicine, policy, and heritage. From women’s health and global advocacy to leadership and legacy, these reflections highlight how clinical practice, research, and culture can shape change. Each piece is a snapshot of impact, rooted in experience and aimed at a better future. To help you explore, I have curated this Navigator: posts that capture the essence of each theme. Think of it as a reading map: start with these, and follow your curiosity, or jump straight into whichever topic speaks to you. The Kalsom Movement, Malaysia is a youth education charity which was shortlisted for the 2022 Commonwealth Education Awards and was one of the Top 50 youth-led organisations worldwide to be featured in the 2020 Youth Solutions Report by the United Nations SDSN Youth. I was actively involved with the charity from 2010 to 2021 (see CV under Voluntary Leadership).

The values of education, equity, and leadership I first championed through The Kalsom Movement continue to guide my advocacy in women's health and global policy; reflecting a continuum of service from grassroots to international stage. Further articles on The Kalsom Movement can be found here.

At the local level in the UK, I contribute through Rotary clubs and the British Malaysian Society to support community charities.

I serve as Chair of Kotodama Lab since 2020, in a ceremonial capacity, supporting its vision to bring Malaysian storytelling into global cinematic space, with cultural integrity at the centre.
