March 2023 & 2024: UN Women UK delegate for the United Nations’ 67th and 68th Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), New York, USA. Presented a talk on the medicalisation of FGM in Asia at the United Nations’ 68th CSW Parallel Event organised by the Asia Network to End FGM/C: “FGM/C in Asia: Evidence and Funding”.

Feb 2024: Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists Global Health Trainees’ Committee.

2024-2026: Member of the Board of Advisors for the Asia Network to End FGM/C.

May 2023: Top 10 Finalists for the 2023 WeAreTheCity Rising Star Award for Healthcare.

Oct 2022: Health Education Yorkshire & Humber School of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Rewarding Excellence Bursary. Awarded retrospectively for oral presentation at the 38th European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) in Milan, Italy.
