“Among the Flowers & Garbage” Art Exhibition, Paris (Oct 2021) by The Art, Biodiversity & Climate (ABC) Network, The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities. The ABC Network bridges the gap that separates the Humanities Division (and, more specifically, the arts, music, performance, and dance) from the crucial research into conserving our planetary support systems. Collaborative artwork with an artist plus poem written by author focusing on women, climate change, and period stigma.

Judge for the 2020 XIV Malaysian Student Leaders’ Summit Challenge by the United Kingdom & Eire Council of Malaysian Students (Aug 2020). Participants were encouraged to find creative solutions to educational issues as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Panellist for the Ditchley Foundation Virtual Panel – A Fourth of July Celebration: Three Great Americans and their lessons for our times (July 2020).

Judge for the STEM Solution Category of The Oxford & Cambridge Society of Malaysia Academic Exploration Competition (May 2020). Participants were encouraged to explore, design, or build solutions to help combat COVID-19 or the effects of measures taken to mitigate it. 

Keynote speaker on the topic of “Youth Setting and Leading the Agenda for Change in Countering Extremism within the context of Women’s Rights” for a civil society organisation that advocates for women’s rights within the Islamic framework, at the 2019 Sisters in Islam Regional Youth Caucus Meeting, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Oct 2019). Keynote touched on extremism against women including FGM and the gender pain gap, especially in women with endometriosis. Article inspired by speech here.
